    Sad, but perhaps not a surprise, given the fact that there were only 35 elderly people at the time of your visit.

    Since then, we've all suffered the effects of the pandemic, and many churches (in the UK, anyway - I expect it's the same in parts of the US) have never really recovered numbers-wise.
