We're just back from a day with Huxley/ Little Beaky and his brothers. Prayers are very much appreciated as they navigate their way through all the challenges with his health and care needs and the ups and downs of normal family life. Huxley continues to have unresolved difficulties with both his respiratory and digestive systems.
Our daughter is trying to arrange a MDT meeting (so far no joy) as he really is suffering so thank you everyone for your prayers.
Please pray for the soul of JA, a flying colleague of long standing who died yesterday after a long brave battle with illness. He will be greatly mourned by us old geezers. He was a considerable presence in our club, enthusiastic, educated, erudite and a talented craftsman.
We shared many interests and passions. His death has hit me quite hard given my own health and heart problems.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Prayers for my diabetic healing (new doctor, new meds) and for Sim’s job interview today, please.
Please pray for a possible new relationship, which may or may not just be a friendship but I don’t know and I’ve not thought about ever having another partner again so I’m wrestling with this, to go well, whatever it becomes.

Our dear friend D is bringing his husband A to our eucharist service today for the first time. Please pray A meets with the Holy Spirit!
Prayers for all that need our prayers. @ChastMastr for wisdom and courage as he explores the possibilities of a new relationship, @RockyRoger 's A that he is open to the workings of the holy spirit and @Merry Vole 's D that they are comforted.

I've got a meeting on the 24th with my old nemesis, the one who became my great-grandboss at the beginning of this year? It's billed as a "getting to know you" meeting between her and my work-group. We are also expected to, uh, ask deeply trusting questions about some recent company decisions that a lot of people had trouble with (we're told it will be anonymous, and I'm sure the organizer intends that to be true, but still).
I don't know how many people will be in the meeting, or how many of them are aware of our past history together--but it's likely at least the organizer will be (besides her and me, I mean). Which means that my every word and action will be under scrutiny. The organizer likes me, but he is also singing her praises to the skies. I can't avoid the meeting in any way, and I really don't want to fuck this up. Please pray?
