  When I read stuff like this, I think I'd be happier at a Latin Mass. (And I'm 'Low Church' by instinct.)

  Well, each to their own, of course. The style of worship doesn't appeal to me, but I know that it does appeal to a lot of people - it's the drivel that passes for *teaching* at this service which I find abhorrent and Tosh-like.

  Maybe because it's just cropped up again, and was missed first time around?
  
  Anyway, it's often instructive to check out the church in an older report, to see what's happening there now.

  Point taken, and the details are fairly gruesome - but, Miss Amanda, you sometimes update us as to churches you yourself have visited in the past, and it is (to me, at any rate) of some interest to know what, if anything, has happened to them...
  
  I can't recall the details, but a Report from some years ago about a struggling but doughty little Methodist church somewhere in London led to me finding out that they are still battling on, with some success, and holding their main service on a Tuesday!
