I had thought he'd been dead for years, and then something came up about him a year or two ago and I thought, "ooh - he's not dead yet!"
Given we were late starting the 2025 one, I've gone ahead and set up the 2026 pool, with a lot of copy & pasting. That gives shipmates just over two weeks to peruse Wikipedia or ask ChatGPT "Is this person still alive"?
For reasons I can't remember now, David and I were invited to some sort of do at Brentwood Cathedral; it's a glorious building, resembling a Roman villa.

Not so far. My personal score is 56 points for David Souter (15 points), Gerry Connolly (25 points), and Dick Cheney (16 points), but I don't know how anyone else did.
