Hello, friends! High Fool here!
in All Saints
Hello, everyone! I am The High Fool, or just "fool", to my friends, (you all included), Prophet of Humor, and I am finally allowed to reach out to my foolish kin! Although, as every fool eventually finds, sacred clowning can sometimes be dangerous (as evil is the fool's true enemy), and I apologize in advance for any vagueness, or what I may decide, is a necessary avoidance, as I must continue to maintain my anonymity, for my family's and my own safety. But, besides overly personal or identifying inquiries, I would love to hear any and all of your questions or comments, (whatever you want to say), whatever it may be, and will do my best to answer all questions or comments as honestly and entertainingly as I can, as well as engage in as many conversations as I can. I came to this community first, and plan to eventually branch out to a wider array of platforms when the time comes. But, for now, I place in you, my implicit, and freely offered sense of optimistic trust; that the ancient and sacred community of true clowns and fools, instills me with absolute confidence of your collective characters and intentions. I am a true believer in the divine fellowship of holy fools and sacred clowns, and proudly shine as a guiding beacon, for the cosmic Light of Humor, and the greater, All-Light of Truth. I do not ascribe to, promote, or work in any way with any religion, whatsoever. I will promote no dogma or theology specifically, and refuse to entertain engagements made with malicious intent. I will say only this, about the subject: The light that shines behind good-hearted or innocent eyes, shines, as well, inside of, all around, behind, troughout, and all within, all aspects of creation. No current belief systems, (that I am aware of, at least) are entirely correct, nor entirely incorrect. The biggest misconception I have noticed, seems to be mostly rooted in semantics; as everyone seems to want a different answer than the easy one: it doesn't matter if you call it: a soul, a heart, a conciousness, an ego or a divine spirit; its all the same thing. It doesn't matter if you call it: the all-spirit, God, the Universe, Truth; its all the same thing. And, the only thing asked of us is this: You need only, the true intent of goodness in your heart, as well as the humbility to allow yourself to appear foolish, and make mistakes; then, you need only to listen, and your heart will resonate with the harmonious and beautiful song of Truth. I will admit, however, that I do not wish to debate dogma; as I see it as a blasphemous corruption of Truth, and a malicious devouring of sacred lumination. But, I am happy to talk about the non-dogmatic, non-extremist aspects of spirituality and worship. I will admit, however, that I have a tendency to distractedly wander off into the woods. So, it may take a little bit of time for me to respond, but I will endeavor to respond to everyone as quickly as my schedule allows. So, hit me; What's good, my fanciful family of fellow fools?
(Feel free to correct my forum ettiquite, berate my grammar, or challenge my claims. But, please. Be kind, show patience, and try to open your mind to fantastical possibilities.)
May our discussions nurture community, expand understanding and foster resilience.
Laugh, for God's sake, my friends, and shine with the brilliant Light of Humor.
Evil has had all of time, and every trick in the book, from cheating to lying to outright killing.
And yet, good remains.
Funny, that.

Welcome HFool.

Lots of flooding here on the Somerset levels, snow is very, very rare. Even frost is unusual.
Somerset is named from the Old English "Sumorsǣte," meaning "the land of the summer people" or "settlement by lakes" Dating from Anglo Saxon settlements around 600 years ago. Now the fields are drained and used for farmland, which regularly floods.
But today is lovely and sunny so I'll be doing outside jobs. 🙂
Note: For the quotation marks, you have to use the basic ", not smart quotes like ”.
Welcome, @The High Fool!
It works!
Thanks @Nick Tamen
