I used to know a comic song about plucking pheasants, but TIACW.
😇
My Beloved Goddaughter recently started sous-cheffing in an upmarket restaurant, and has learned to pluck pheasants. As a fond Godmother ever anxious to expand her education, I have taught her that ditty.
We have had an excellent day! My husband and my cousin's husband always got along well when they met at family occasions, but my husband's working hours pre-retirement meant he had a very restricted social life. Despite having known each other for almost thirty years, they had never met up independently of wider family. Since the NE Man retired he and cousin's husband have had a monthly dinner-and-snooker evening, and they'd arranged a family get together today - ten pin bowling, followed by dinner in a Turkish restaurant. It was great fun! And all the better because all I had to do was participate - nothing for me to organise or even think about at all!
