    Hello and welcome lnguyen105!

What is this clapping at the end of the service? Is it customary in certain areas?

The only clapping I recall is after some musical piece is played after the conclusion of the service. I take it it wasn't this.
  • I dont like clapping either. It sets up an audience/performer relationship which is inimical to corporate worship which is about the priest/minister/celebrant being a conduit to God.
