Ottawa shipmeet - December 28 at noon

We've confirmed a place and time for a Shipmeet in chilly Ottawa (Ontario) - December 28 at noon at the Heart & Crown in the Byward Market (the traditional Place-de-Shipmeet in Ottawa).

I've tagged everyone I know to be in the Ottawa area on the Canada thread but happy to see any other Shipmates as well of course. If you're going to be in the neighborhood, send me a PM and I will give you some information that will help you find us.

    Hi I’m sorry to do this but a cold that I thought was over and done with on the weekend has come back with renewed vigour and I don’t want to share it with you. Sorry this is such late notice. I will PM @Augustine the Aleut and @Sober Preacher's Kid as well.

    I should be back in Ottawa sometime in the Spring or Summer in case anyone feels like meeting up for then. Sorry again.

    The shipmeet was both raucous and serene, as befits the Ship. We were able to talk about @Marsupial at length, and devised several haiku to explain his absence.

    Sorry to miss this - I’ve seen SPK more recently but I think last time I connected with AtA was over a decade ago. I will be in town again in the spring or summer, hopefully minus any respiratory viruses, so hopefully we can meet up again then.

    In other news, my cold proceeds apace. It’s sort of weird having an (unpleasant but) fairly normal cold in the age of Covid etc.
