Consultation Notification

Further to extensive discussions in Styx and further discussions with the crew, we would like to propose a change to the structure of the forums.

We have set up a consultation space on The 8th Day, which will be hosted by @Doublethink & @Alan Cresswell . The opening post there outlines the proposal and we invite the comments and suggestions of registered shipmates. The consultation will be open for seven days, we will then consider your comments and post a summary response after Easter - there will then be an opportunity for further comments before a final outcome is posted.

To be constructive and useful, and so that as many shipmates as possible feel able to contribute, it will be important that those participating do so in good faith with mutual respect; the space will be hosted on that basis.

I'm confused at what this is all about despite also visiting the 8th day site. Do I have to do anything at all or may I just continue reacting to what people have posted on sites such as All Saints etc?

You don’t have to do anything if you don’t wish to. But you can post on the thread in 8th Day, and say whether you think we should go ahead with merging Purgatory and Epiphanies or not. The other forums, such as All Saints, will continue as normal whether we do it or not.

When will stage 2 of consultations begin?

Then there will be a break whilst we read and consider everyone's points - then we will open another thread here with a response - I estimate that will be in about two weeks time, but there may be some flex in that because there is a lot to think about."

We have delayed somewhat longer than planned owing to personal circumstances amongst the crew - I am hoping by the end of the month.
