    I apologise for lowering the tone, but in an early episode of Sex and the City, Carrie realises that John aka 'Big' drives his mother to a Presbyterian church in Manhattan each Sunday. To engineer an encounter with him she duly attends herself, although both are cynical about religion. In my memory the episode was filmed outside a church looking very much like this one. Might this be it?
