    I often wonder how bad a worship experience would need to be, for me not to feel glad to be a Christian. This seems to have done it, and I feel your disappointment, Brandi. Discovering a drum-booth (cage) is one of my danger signs in a worship band - it's usually worse if there's a drummer inside it. 40+ years of sound engineering experience have never solved this conundrum, that to achieve any kind of musicality everything else has to be louder than the drums... but never can be.
