The 'This is interesting' thread in Ecclesiantics
in The Styx
I'm just curious but why has @Gramps49's 'This is interesting' thread in Ecclesiantics been closed down completely and not moved to another Board?
I can understand why @Spike felt it didn't belong in 'Ecclesiantics' - and I'm struggling to think where it does belong to be honest ... ๐
But I've seen stranger or equally perplexing threads moved rather than being closed down entirely.
I'm not questioning the decision as such but curious as to the criteria.
I will admit that my puzzled reaction to it could potentially have become tetchy and unedifying - but that says more about me than it says about Gramps49.
Had it been moved elsewhere he would at least have been given the opportunity to explain his thought process and why he felt the issue was 'interesting' in the first place.
But perhaps it's better left alone...

Your OP contains the answer. (My bold.). I would also assert that a sequence of clarification posts and queries is probably more effort for everyone involved, than @Gramps49 simply drafting a more suitable op for whichever forum he wishes to use.
