am i missing something … is there a way to just 'like' a post ?
show support or approval. i don’t always want to quote and say anything as such.

it feels odd not having that facility … maybe SoF has never felt the need for such modern things and that is perfectly ok as well

    no idea how i did that
    and i can’t see a way to move it
    and no idea where it would go

    Just to answer your question quickly - we do not have a "like" function here. We're a discussion forum, and knowing that someone likes something is not very informative - we much prefer to know why you like something, which needs a typed response to which others can also respond if they like.

    Additionally, this sort of question should be in the Styx forum. Moving threads is limited to the admins. And, there's a short edit time (and, deleting counts as an edit) for posts here. If you post something you later regret then apologies, corrections and learning from mistakes are encouraged - deleting or re-writing so your original post isn't visible isn't possible (hosts/admin can edit or delete any post that seriously breaks our rules).
