    Ok.

    So how do we understand the light in this particular passage?

    Is it the 'Uncreated Light of Tabor' as it were, the light seen at the Transfiguration?

    Or some kind of 'created' light directed by the risen Christ almost as a laser-beam or search-light?

    I'm going for the first option, but then I would given my particular church affiliation.
