World Science Fiction Convention Montreal 2027

Is anyone from the Ship planning/hoping to go to this? I have registered and hope to go, but I've never been to a Worldcon or to Montreal. I'm hoping someone can give me some help/advice, and maybe even be my room mate, cause the hotels are expensive.
Thanks!
Thanks!

My Young Man had only ever been to ComicCons before I dragged him to LonCon 3 in 2014 - he was quickly converted! We also went to Glasgow in 2024. Usually, there are a variety of hotels to stay in, some of which are considerably cheaper than the convention hotel.
Also, try to pace yourself, and remember to eat! It's very easy to get carried away, because there is so much going on - panel discussions, art show, dealers' room, music (up to and including full orchestras!), craft sessions, Masquerade and hall costumes - there was even a Good Omens escape room at Glasgow, which was great fun, especially as my Young Man and I were dressed as Crowley and Aziraphale.
At the moment I'm in the process of packing for EasterCon, which is a smaller British version of WorldCon. I'm also volunteering - all these cons are run by volunteers, so I'll be helping out at the registration desk and the art show this year.
