Thank you for your prayers for my friend M. Her husband reports that they were able to take her off sedation last night, and she is awake now (after 3 days and 3 surgeries). So it is very good news, but I’m not sure what road lies ahead. If you’re able to include her in your prayers, I’d be grateful.
I spoke too soon when I posted at 10.26am that we were on the verge of going home. The blood tests suggested a possible issue, so another round of tests ensued. All is well, though and we were allowed to leave at 4.30pm.
Very grateful to the NHS, and very, very grateful to be home.

Prayers please for David D., a friend I’ve known since high school (early 1980s), who is struggling with despair and serious issues. He’s currently safe (I believe he’s at a veterans place overnight) but was sounding suicidal earlier.

David D. is still at the place in question. Please pray.
Suddenly noticed that a creeping depression which had been coming over Mr Lamb starting about two years ago has been completely banished, or so it seems to me. Super grateful—I had been very worried. Though it cracks me up to see the method God seems to have employed, which was dropping a huge amount of WTF? situations into his personal life—to which he responds like a kitten to a feather toy. I never would have thought of that solution, but it’s working, and the depression seems to be gone.

As we’re no longer able t go on holiday, Darllenwr had proposed having a Staycation and going for long day trips . That depended on my carers coming early in the morning. We have been told that’s not possible.
Please pray that the situation would change.
Also laughing because, when I said I wanted to plant canna flowers a couple years ago, Mr Lamb talked me out of it on the grounds that we’d need to dig an over winter them inside, given our climate. I never really stopped pining for them.
And last week I stopped into work and found some interesting roots on the “free” table where i usually leave my own plumeria and night blooming cereus trimmings. Didn’t know what they were, thought they were vegetables, but planted them by the pond anyway… Apparently God intends me to have cannas! 😆

Mr Lamb is struggling with grief and with interactions with my dad. He means well but this isn’t the time for all the petty things my dad is picking at him about—and circumstances mean it isn’t easy to escape. Please pray for us all.

Ay yi yi yi, freaking insanity happening here. My life is a telenovela. Funeral is tomorrow, and I've no guarantees the drama will stop there, though I hope so. Ask God to help us step super carefully among all the traps laid for our feet? We've already tripped on several of them.
