Don't hold yor breath, but in our 'decluttering/downsizing' we think we have (at last) found a good home (an Anglian Retreat House) for the piano!
PTL thricely!

That’s a major accomplishment, so I hope it works out. Pianos are a bear to dispose of.

We had almost given up hope, but then God stepped in. Wow!
Just for an absolutely glorious walk yesterday. I can't tell how good it was, but it was. Nothing special on the face of things, just 11 odd miles through charming Derbyshire countryside, but it raised my soul in praise and wonder.
Praise and thanksgiving for surgeons, nurses, support workers, cleaners, and all others who work in our local hospital to enable successful open heart surgery such as I have just received.
Such good news, E_O, PTL!
I met with the cardiologist today. Artificial valves still working OK and the previously severe atrial fibrilation responding well to medication. Today I walked 4K at a goodly pace. Mrs RR thrilled to have her husband (well, almost) back.
Excellent news, @Ex_Organist - take care of yourself, get plenty of rest and get well soon!
Rest is not on the prescription list. What is prescribed is regular gentle exercise, including a daily walk with progressivly increasing distance, so as to build up muscle strength.
Having blood circluating round my body properly for the first time in several years has already boosted my mental and physical energy levels.
Glad both @Ex_Organist and @RockyRoger are doing well. I've probably mentioned this before but I recommend the Rambler's well being walks if they are in your area. Gentle walking with a chance for a chat over coffee.
I think this may be the place to give thanks that us accidentally gate-crashing Confirmation at a certain famous abbey seems not to have upset any apple-carts. Honestly sir we were only trying to hear the choir and it says « sung Mass at 11:15am in term-time; all welcome » on the website.
Huge amounts of praise and thanksgiving for our Miracle Unicorn™, Granddaughter CJ!
After having surgery to install a G tube at two and a half months old, today this happy and healthy two and a half year old had it removed!
We had been warned that most G tube children need it for all their lives. My daughter and son-in-law did everything possible to get her to eat food (which she now very much enjoys!) with the advice and encouragement of her doctors and therapists.

Thank you, Jesus, for my baby, my partner Cubby, aka QuakerCub on the Ship. Today would be, or perhaps is, our 23rd anniversary, and I trust he is with me in spirit, that he and I are both in Your Hands, and that when my own time comes, I will see him again face to face. Please take care of him, of Daddy Vern, and of all my other loved ones who have passed. 🕯
I would like to give thanks for the bloke who employs me. A couple of weeks ago I made a stupid mistake and broke something quite expensive (in my terms, if not in corporate terms). He's given me all this time to take it apart, find the faults, order the parts, and now they have arrived is being very encouraging regarding getting it all back together. He didn't even let me pay for the bits. This little PT job has been a real blessing to me and has helped me make a very late start on getting over some bits of my past and character which make this kind of thing disproportionately affecting. So, thank you, Lord.

This may be a bit gross, but my toilet was backed up. The plunger I had was pretty worthless. I just ordered a new one, it was delivered, and my toilet is now working fine. Whew!
Yes it is a bit, but there are few things in life more inconvenient than a bog that doesn't work! 😲

I am such a happy Mimi!
Awesome!!!
Sounds like you're in safe hands. PTL
An inconvenient convenience.
