    Ooh, they do look useful! My mum forgot her flannels when we went away and ended up using wipes. Thanks everyone for your advice, I will have a chat with Age UK. Mum did have a care needs assessment and financial assessment a year or two back; the current arrangement is that the county council pay the bill for the private care agency (which Mum sourced herself), and then we have to pay the Council the full amount. We're hoping that we can now get an updated financial assessment after which they will cover part of the cost.

    Sunday night, my 90 year old father had a nightmare that he was paralyzed. It completely through his Monday off, and both my sister and I could hear the fear in his voice when we spoke to him on Monday.
  • It sounds like he might have had an episode of Sleep Paralysis. It is I understand coming out of REM sleep but really awake. If so I do hope it is a one time event as it must feel very scary.
