There were reports earlier this year of food shortages onboard and recent reports of sailors attempting to go overboard. All those pro-military Republicans should be ashamed of themselves.

200 day deployments must do nothing for morale, retention and recruitment, but supposedly pro-military governments don’t give a damn about military personnel. We have the same problem in the U.K.

Having three or four of eleven deployed is one thing, but why are personnel deployed for over six months? That indicates a shortage of personnel, which is a shortage in the British armed forces, principally because of poor retention.
